What this tool does

This finder helps you choose the right pilot licence, from a LAPL or full PPL to microlights, gliders or the commercial licences, matched to what you want to fly and how far you want to take it.

It points you to the licence that fits, it does not enrol you or replace a chat with a flight school.

When to use it

Use it when the different licences confuse you, when you are deciding between flying for fun and flying for a career, or when you want to know the cheapest sensible way to get into the air.

How it works

You tell it what you want to fly and why, where you will fly, and your time and budget. It then recommends the best fitting licence, what it lets you do, the minimum hours, a rough cost and your first step, and notes how you can upgrade later. Nothing you enter is saved, and you do not need to give your name or email to use it. Your local flight school or club can confirm the right path for you and let you try a lesson first.
